Spiced Baked Plantain Chips
These crispy and flavorful chips are a healthy snack to pair with your favorite tea.
Ingredients:
2 green plantains, ripe for frying
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Peel the plantains and cut them into thin rounds.
- In a bowl, toss the plantains with oil, cinnamon, nutmeg, and black pepper.
- Spread the plantain rounds in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until golden and crispy.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
